School life – G5 Ski Trip

G5の子どもたちがSki Tripを体験してきました。

その様子を外国人教員のレポートとともに少しだけ紹介します。

In the evenings, G5 students enjoyed some leisure time to relax with friends as they pleased. They had activity options such as sharing stories by the fireplace, playing card or board games, making a craft, and even participating in a dance party with glow sticks! Students seemed to really value this time to strengthen bonds together and recharge before the next day’s ski lessons.

セミナーハウスでみんなで過ごす夜には、暖炉の前で友達と話したり、カードゲームやボードゲームを楽しんだり、工作をしたり、グロースティックを使ったダンスをしたり、用意されたオプションを各々が選んで活動しました。子どもたちは、次の日のスキー練習に備えて充電しながら、このような友達と一緒に過ごす時間をとても大切にしているようでした。

Up on the slopes, students brushed up on skills they learned on previous ski trips and helped each other reach the next level. The G5 teachers were amazed by their teamwork abilities and compassion as they pushed themselves to achieve their goals. They even gave some great advice to their teachers! The students were so friendly to the ski instructors and other guests at Yachiho Kogen, often striking up conversations with a big smile on their faces. With this being their final Ski Trip with LCA, we are proud to say these students put their whole hearts into making the most of it!

５年生はLCAで最後のスキートリップを八千穂高原で精いっぱい楽しんできました。先生たちは、子どもたちのチームワークの良さと、去年よりスキーを上達しようとする姿勢、できないところをフォローしあって頑張っている姿に感動しました。スキー場の人やお客さんとも笑顔で楽しくおしゃべりできるフレンドリーな姿も、とても素晴らしかったです。
